Jean-Ju will speak at the Physiology, Biophysics and Systems Biology Seminar Series on March 15th. We are looking forward to hearing her talk "Sperm structures meet function"!

Speaker at BPS 2023

Jean-Ju attended the 2023 Biophysical Society’s Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. She held her presentation entitled “Sperm Flaggelar CATSPER Calcium Channels” on Monday, February 20th.

Farewell Professor Hwang!

Jae has been in the Chung Lab since June of 2016! He has been a core member from the start and will be greatly missed. The lab had a great time celebrating his accomplishments at Bar Pizza. We wish him all the best of luck as he starts his new position at Pusan National University in South Korea!

Washington University Invited Speaker

On January 9th, Jean-Ju was invited to speak at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. The talk was entitled “CATSPER channels: Structure meets function”. Thank you for this opportunity!

Lab Holiday Party

Jean-Ju hosted lab members at her house to celebrate the upcoming holidays. We had a pot luck style dinner and played games together. Happy Holidays, everyone!

Gillian's Undergraduate Presentation

On November 14th Gillian shared the findings for her research project at the Timothy Dwight College Senior Mellon Forum. Many lab members went to support. Great job, Gillian!

Olga's Birthday Celebration!

Olga hosted all of her friends at her house for her birthday on November 8th. She prepared a traditional Spanish meal for everyone to enjoy. Happy Birthday, Olga!

Lab Social Celebration!

The lab went out for lunch to eat pizza in order to celebrate Dr. Chung and Olga’s birthdays. It was also an extra celebration to congratulate Dr. Chung and Jae on the success of the completion of writing their manuscript.

Hosting Dr. Alessio Accardi

On Thursday, October 20th Dr. Alessio Accardi from Weill Cornell Medical School visited Yale University as a guest speaker. His talk was entitled “Flipping Lipids: In or Out of the Groove?”. Pictured below, the Chung lab trainees enjoyed their lunch with Dr. Accardi.
